On October 25, Academy of Sustainability at Edison (ASE) students along with their teacher, Kelly Porter, walked to John H. Eader Elementary School to teach 2nd graders about the importance of preserving the environment.

Before the trip, ASE students were tasked with creating an entertaining, engaging, and environmentally responsible booklet to share with the Huntington Beach City School District (HBCSD) students. Throughout the morning, it was easy to see each and everyone of the students, both high school and elementary, enjoying the lesson.

In their continued effort to learn, the ASE students also participated in an ecology scavenger hunt to practice data and collection skills on the way to and from the elementary school.
