On Saturday, January 21, the Westminster High School (WHS) Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapter participated in the Norte Vista FFA Field Day. The Lions took part in different competitions including Veterinary Science, Floral, Vegetable Crop Judging, and “Best Informed Greenhand.”  Best Informed Greenhand, otherwise known as B.I.G., is a competition exclusively for freshman-aged students that tests their knowledge of FFA’s history, purpose, and structure of local, state, and national organizations.  Westminster’s freshman did an outstanding job as they were awarded third place in the competition. Congrats, Lions!
