On March 30, the Huntington Beach Adult (HBAS) awarded six students with Lifelong Learner Awards – Sherry Mancini, Briana Johnson, Ruth Lopez, Cynthia Aquino Garcia, Chanh Phan, and Ida Rodriguez.

During the ceremony, Steve Curiel, Huntington Beach Adult School’s principal, explained the unparalleled dedication of the awardees.

“Their desire to learn continues to grow as they continue to overcome life’s challenges,” Principal Curiel noted.  “Instructors recognize these students for their dedication, their willingness to be selfless in class, and their commitment to using their new skills to help better the lives of those around them.”

The Lifelong Learners were recognized for their hard work in a variety of Huntington Beach Adult School’s (HBAS) programs including Diploma/GED, Personal Enrichment, and Career Technical Education.
