On February 15, the Westminster High School (WHS) Vietnamese American Culture Club (VACC) performed its annual Tết concert in celebration of the Lunar New Year on February 16. This date marks the beginning of the “Year of the Dog.”
During the celebration, students and staff gathered around Abbey Square at lunchtime to observe an elaborate performance complete with traditional song, dance, and fashion. Tết, short for Tết Nguyen Dán, translates to “the first morning of the first day” and is the Vietnamese version of the Lunar New Year.
