District athletes join together for Sunset League Sportsmanship Conference

On October 10, student athletes from four Huntington Beach Union High School District (HBUHSD) schools — Edison High School (EHS), Fountain Valley High School (FVHS), Huntington Beach High School (HBHS), and Marina High School (MHS) — joined together to participate in the Sunset League Sportsmanship Conference. The Sunset League also includes Newport Harbor High School and Los Alamitos High School. During the conference, athletes had the opportunity to hear from speakers that offered a different stories relating to sportsmanship. Sixteen students receive diplomas at second annual Fall Graduation Ceremony

On Monday, October 3, sixteen Huntington Beach Union High School District (HBUHSD) students participated in the second annual Fall Graduation Ceremony at Ocean View High School (OVHS). For various reasons, these students did not have the opportunity to graduate back in June. After the students proceeded into the ceremony during “Pomp and Circumstance,” Ocean View High School Principal, Dr. Courtney Robinson, welcomed the students, distinguished guests, and loved ones in attendance.
