Huntington Beach High School teachers demonstrate “tech” for fellow educators

On Feb. 17, Huntington Beach High School (HBHS) hosted staff from around the district for Tech Fest, an annual gathering where educators learn about “tech” being used in the classroom. Staff members were given the opportunity to sit-in on live classs to learn about various software, websites, and apps being used on devices such as Google Chromebooks, iPads, and smart phones. Edison student recognized for original cancer research essay

Congratulations to Edison High School (EHS) student Gus Weiss, for being selected as a winner of the Emperor Science Award program – an initiative designed to encourage high school students to explore careers in science, specifically cancer research and care, through mentoring opportunities. Thirty-two HBUHSD students named as Orange County Register Artist of the Year nominees

Of the 391 Orange County nominees, the Huntington Beach Union High School District (HBUHSD) is proud to have a total of 32 students represented with at least three in each category on the prestigious list.
