On January 18, the Marina High School (MHS) marching band and color guard performed for park goers at the Disneyland Resort. Under the direction of band director, John McGilligan, the Vikings were given the opportunity to march down Main Street, U.S.A. as a part of the Disneyland Resort Community Arts Showcase. Each year, this program selects a very limited number of groups to perform at the resort. Congratulations to Edison High School (EHS) student Lauren Castelblanco, Fountain Valley High School (FVHS) student Alexandra Geltman, and Marina High School (MHS) students Antalique Tran and Austin Hwang (pictured below) for being selected as “Shining Stars” in the 2016-2017 Disneyland Resort Dreamers & Doers program.
