Congratulations to the five Huntington Beach Union High School District (HBUHSD) students who were nominated for the 2018 Disneyland Resort “Dreamers & Doers” award. This program recognizes youth who take action to improve their communities and schools.

- Maya Kvesic – Fountain Valley High School (FVHS)
- Meagan Quach – Marina High School (MHS)
- Samantha Gertz – Marina High School (MHS)
- Hannah Takasuka – Ocean View High School (OVHS)
In addition, three of the HBUHSD students were also selected as “Shining Stars.” They will receive a $1,000 grant and invitation to a celebratory luncheon in March.
