The Huntington Beach Union High School District (HBUHSD) is excited to begin a special partnership with the U.S. Department of Education to join their #GoOpen initiative as a #GoOpen Launch District. This initiative encourages states, school districts, and educators to use openly licensed educational materials to transform teaching and learning. The Huntington Beach Union High School District (HBUHSD) Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Dr. Alan Rasmussen has been selected as the Interim Superintendent of Schools. Dr. Rasmussen was officially appointed at the regularly scheduled Board meeting on Tuesday, June 14.
