PICTURES: Edison’s CARE Month focuses on spreading awareness, kindness, and change

Throughout the month of November, Edison High School’s (EHS) students and staff focused on promoting unique themes important to the overall idea of CARE Month.  CARE is an acronym that stands for Campaign for Acceptance, Respect, and Empathy. During week one, the EHS Chargers concentrated on building awareness of different challenges students face by participating in activities such as the wheelchair challenge, visual impairment challenge, and hearing impairment challenge.  Individuals took on these disabilities to get a better understanding of what it’s like in someone else’s shoes. Huntington Beach Union High School District Board of Trustees identifies Dr. Clint Harwick as next Superintendent

The Huntington Beach Union High School District (HBUHSD) Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the upcoming consideration of Dr. Clint Harwick as the next Superintendent of Schools.  Dr. Harwick’s appointment will be included as an action item on the agenda at the regularly scheduled Board meeting on Tuesday, November 15. “The Board is very pleased and excited about working with Dr. Harwick as Superintendent,” stated Board of Trustees President, Dr. Duane Dishno.
