On April 13, Edison High School (EHS) hosted the Huntington Beach Union High School District’s (HBUHSD) inaugural Soccer by the Sand Unified Sports Tournament. This inclusive, district-wide competition brought together Special Olympic athletes and general education partners to train and compete together on the same soccer teams. Three HBUHSD schools participated — Edison High School, Fountain Valley High School (FVHS), and Westminster High School (WHS).
