On December 1, Board of Trustees member, Susan Henry, was sworn in as the California School Board Association’s (CSBA) new President.  Trustee Henry is the first Board member in the district’s history to hold this position.  This ceremony took place at CSBA’s Annual Education Conference in San Francisco. On December 8, the Huntington Beach Union High School District (HBUHSD) office held their annual holiday luncheon to celebrate employees and the year coming to a close.  As a part of this celebration, Dr. Carolee Ogata, Deputy Superintendent of Human Resources, presented a $750 donation for students in need.  This donation was raised by district office employees.
